Q: What services do you offer?

A: We offer a variety of Accounting, Bookkeeping, and Consulting services. See the Services drop down on our website for more information. We do not offer any year end tax filing services, but we will help you prepare your information for your tax accountant. If you need a tax accountant referral, we would be happy to help you with that as well.

Q: Do we come to your office for help?

A: No, all of our services are handled remotely for your convenience. You never have to pack up and come to us. We believe this is part of what sets us apart from others.

Q: Will you help us ongoing or do you just set us up?

A: We will provide as much or as little assistance as you need. Everything we do is customized to your needs.

Q: Do you offer payroll services?

A: Yes, we do offer payroll services utilizing QuickBooks Enhanced Payroll. We can provide this through our hosted QuickBooks offerings so you can access your information anytime you want. If you currently have QuickBooks, then we can provide it remotely through your current file. We have multiple ways we can approach our services to meet your specific needs.

Q: Will you do our year end tax filings for us?

A: We will file your payroll tax forms, sales tax forms, as well as prepare all the information your tax preparer will need for your personal and corporate taxes; however, we do not actually do that work in house. We have multiple third party tax specialists that can provide this service if you do not have a tax accountant you currently work with. We will ensure it is as seamless as possible for you and provide you a good checks and balances for all parties.

Q: Do we have to live in Kansas City to work with you?

A: Not at all, our client base is diverse and we are able to work with you regardless of where you or your business is located. Please call us to discuss your specific needs and we can then discuss our various options to effectively help you grow your business. We work with clients throughout the US and abroad.

Q: What makes RPPC, Inc. different than other accountants?

A: Our specialty is QuickBooks and Accounting consulting. We are your outsourced accounting service provider. This means we provide services such as financial review for job costing, to high level CFO services. This means we can provide as little or as much as you need, when you need it. We do all of this while specializing in the QuickBooks product line. This means we know how to best utilize your QuickBooks software to ensure that you are operating as efficiently and effectively as possible. Pam is Advanced Certified in both the QuickBooks Desktop and Online Products.

Q: Do we have to use QuickBooks to work with RPPC, Inc?

A: No, we work with clients utilizing other software as well. The main difference is that we are not experts at the other software, so our scope of services won’t include the intricacies of that software like it does when we work with QuickBooks. However, we will still be able to assess the processes and information for you from a financial perspective. Our goal is always to help you manage your business in the best financial way possible, regardless of the tools you use.

Q:  There are several versions of QuickBooks, how do I know which version is right for my company?

A:  We can do an evaluation of your company, from that evaluation our team can determine which version will be the best fit for your company’s need.

Q:  I have been using Quicken and my business really needs accounting software that has more functionalities.  I would like to upgrade to QuickBooks, but I don’t want to lose all of my history.  Does my history transfer to QuickBooks?

A:  Most definitely.  As a matter of fact, most accounting software’s data will transfer over to QuickBooks at time of conversion. Schedule a consult today to discuss more specific information about this process.

Q:  After I install and using QuickBooks for 6-8 months or longer, and I need help or have questions, who do I call?

A:  You call us, RPPC, Inc.  We will be more than happy to assist you long after your software is installed and setup. We have a large pool of clients that we work with ongoing at intervals determined by their specific needs.
